Politics | India’s Role Critical In Fighting Off Synthetic Drugs Says US



Politics - Uzra Zeya, the Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights, highlighted India’s pivotal role as a global leader in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry and its critical contributions to combating the spread of synthetic drugs. The remarks were made during the 4th US-India Counternarcotics Working Group meeting held here.

During the session, Indian Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, expressed enthusiasm for the expanding scope of bilateral cooperation in drug policy between India and the United States.
